YOUR MECH'S ROLE
INFIGHTER-
An infighter should be a mech whose primary range is under 500 meters.
An infighter is always fast.
An infighter should be the last to engage the enemy.
MIDRANGE-
A midrange mech should have a primary range of 500-800 meters.
A midrange mech should have moderate speed.
A midrange mech should be the second to engage the enemy.
SNIPERS-
A sniper should have a primary range of 800 meters or more.
A sniper should not concentrate on speed unless he is to be used as bait.
A sniper in all cases should be the first to engage the enemy.
THE WAY THIS SHOULD ALL GO DOWN
The infighters should scout for contact cautiously.(THIS MEANS TRY NOT TO BE SEEN BY THE ENEMY)
Once contact was made, the infighters should regroup with the snipers.
The infighters should stay with the snipers and await further instructions.
The midrange should assume a flanking position to the enemy.
After everyone has checked in that they are in position it is then time to engage but only in this order.
Snipers should engage to draw the attention of the enemy.
When the enemy charges to get into range the midrange should flank them 200-500 meters away from the snipers.
Once the midrange has engaged, the infighters have a clear path to charge.
Aim for the center torso, not legs or arms. it is bettter to kill then to just take away a weapon or two.
Try to pick up on what targets are being fired upon to "gang up" on one target at a time.
